Such a wonderful photo and it knocks all the bluebell woods into a chocolate box for me. I find the dubious verticality of the house is annoying and I’m convinced you’ve lost some colour from the sky but I really like the overall effect. Good shot.
I really like this and I don’t think it needs a person of any age because the bench has anthropomorphic qualities of its own with its arms, legs and blank-faced stare. Well done.
That picture was taken with a camera in one hand and a mainsheet in the other.
Must be quite some boat if you can lie in bed and take pictures like this at the same time. The skipper might have appreciated some help with the tilling though :)
I wonder if you should include a lot more sky to highlight the empty infinity of space, or a lot less sky because it’s so featureless. It’s not as good as some of your other photos if you don’t mind such a blunt observation, the whole composition lacks interest.
It’s nice. Black and white is good. The only problem is that it looks like a single wall – something out of a Clint Eastwood Western. Perhaps a little bit of the rest of the building would have been desirable.
Looks good value at under ?600, by Jove. And the “smallest lightest SLR” tag is going to be an attraction for some people.
What type of photography will you be doing? The lens sizes for this camera should be doubled to give you an idea of what they equate to on a film camera e.g. 150mm becomes 300mm.
My biggest question mark would be about fitting 10 million pixels onto a sensor so small. Does this cause noise? Maybe others will be able to elaborate for you.
When you see them puffed up it’s often the bulk of feathers, not the body. Woodpigeons often look very fat. They puff them up in cold or when they are undernourished in order to preserve heat. Counter-intuitively, a sleek looking bird may be in better overall condition. Don’t forget that a bird which starves itself feeding its chicks will kill itself and the chicks – evolution would have put paid to such stupidity long ago.
