Its really quite close to the original in composition-
interesting too that two photographers, nearly a century apart,
would make these quite similar photographs,
independently of each other-
Not that huge a coincidence – I pretty much shot every angle there was to the place one afternoon in late summer :) I’d have been more surprised if he found a shot I hadn’t gotten lol
I have a AL1916WAs (Acer 19″ widescreen lcd monitor) which I’d part with for ?100 + p&p or meet in Sligo/Leitrim, if you’re interested? Registered post is about ?20 for a package that size/weight. Monitor is less than a year old, changing it because I got rid of the computer I used it with and replaced it with a laptop. There’s about a month left on the warranty.
Thanks so much for taking the time to advise! Pippatee, love what you did to it, the colours are way more vibrant :)
Ifor and others, I do know what you mean about getting them to look at the camera, but they’re a lively pair – this had to be snapped immediately, because 99% of the time they are beating each other’s heads in, this was quite an unusual pose :) Getting someone to attack the photographer just might work, though :)
Mental with contrast? No… I actually prefer the second one! Two very lovely little ladies, nicely done! Can’t wait til my kiddy is old enough to pose :)
Thanks for the welcome, all! As for quackles, it was my imaginary friend’s name. I used to dance with a mop whose name was Quackles. I later killed it and stole the name
And thanks for the comment on the website, it’s still a work in progress, I’m sure I’ll be looking for plenty of advice on it before it’s finished :)
