Thanks but in all fairness sometimes just having silhouette photos are nice aswell.! and frankly i think these are nice photos.!
to be honest i’ll have to agree with bricker on every word said, it does depend alot on not only the sunset/rise but the content that the sunset/rise highlights. and frankly the trees are destracting aswell as the houses in the background. on first glance it appeared to be evidently photographs taken whilst out walking although you state you have taken these with an slr 1000D but the snaps look like they have been captured by a non pro small digital point and shot camera.
Cheers Guys, Yeah they are a tad soft, maybe it was my post processing but I never really noticed until now. Cheers for pointing it out. It was pretty windy on location that day and my tripod isn’t really the best even on a good day so maybe thats got something to do with it! I’m not sure. I prefer to blame my tripod :P.
This was really a Trial on error shoot testing out my new filters and remote trigger. so I’m pretty happy with what I got that day.
cheers and keep and critz or comments coming, always good to see where to improve.
great shot. pitty the boat wasn’t more to the left side of the shot think the grass hiding the boat kind of spoils the whole idea of the boat being there!
Took these photos in the “2010 Dublin Zombie Walk” on 26/06. It was a strange but wonderful experience. All comments welcome. Thanks.
WOW for a second there i thought the woman on the bus actually had a bag over her head in the event of trying to do her self in before the zombies got here but it turns out it was the guys t-shirt! Fewww :D
awesome shoots and i bet it was a surreal experiance indeed!
something that would make the bxw more dramatic would be instead of the tyres there was an old rusty anchor lob-sided on the grass as it would be relavant to the main subject in the image but whats not there cant be helped unless you go and steal an anchor and chuck those tyres aside! lol!
still excellent shot! would look great framed and on the wall of maybe a fish and chip shop or a fishing tackle shop!
thanks guys, Yeah i was about 2-3 feet away from my car with this shot.
I just got my 10-22mm lens and its the best £300 ive ever spent on something second hand. i adjusted the contrast etc to the car to help bring out the shine.
o p.s im working from my laptop and i can never get a true reading on what the actual photograph looks like as when i print the image its always darker than what i see on my laptop! i reckon its time to get myself a proper desktop computer rather than a laptop! maybe im just lookin for an excuse, haha im not sure but i do find a difference in my work when viewing on laptop and on print! :s
It should have a calibrated monitor, I have and I am very pleased to recommend it!
