I like this, it’s a good representation of the size of these birds and the power taken to lift them off water.
Like jb I like the curl on the wing and bit of blur on the left wing tip which adds to the sense of movement
Not an easy shot to get by any means having torn up or deleted many more than I’ve kept!

Now your seeing it :wink:, try playing with the lighting on this one, darkening down will bring up the radial line detail more in the feathers and give a more layering effect to the outer feathers!! Lovely shot :D

Very nice shots, Pixelle is right re Irish Hare. Not sure if it was weather related but two Hares were spotted on the North Bull
in early Jan with near full white coats..
