You have to post more pics of this little beauty. Maybe we should ask Mark for a category for proud parents.

Helen, Rob, thank you for the comments, didn’t expect to get such compliments

Rob, the last photos were done with flash directed at ceiling and I think it did the job :)

    thanks again

would you use the camera flash directly to the subject or direct at the ceiling?

I’ll leave that one to Rob (and others). Every shot I take with flash goes wrong!

I just did another photoshoot :D how it looks now? didn’t do anything with photo. c&c very welcome

    and more photos

PeteTheBloke and Rob, thank you both for the comments, as I need it at the moment, like I didn’t notice the shadow under the chin and now I know, that the key or fill light was a little bit too high.
one more thing, could you advice me please, when you shooting a portrait, would you use the camera flash directly to the subject or direct at the ceiling?
    thank you in advance

I should have mentioned that #3 is my favourite as well. Out of curiosity, did you use flash for this? On or off camera? Did you just keep shooting until you captured images you liked, or did you have some method to the madness of trying to capture the drops landing?

I had a 500w lamp directed to sink and I used flash. I kept my finger at the place where drops landing, focused and then just kept shooting :D

these are done with macro lense, F13, 1/125sec, ISO-100, Shutter priority. You always can check setting by saving image and looking at properties.

    thanks for the tip. :?

great stuff. I’ve tried this and only ended up making a mess! Found it very challenging, did not end up with anything close to being as good as these.

care to explain your set up?
