ok so this is about 2 months too late
being part of generation X I too like lists! :D
I suppose really you should be limiting yourself to a couple of areas
Landscapes
waterfall make a waterfall interesting
mountains get up early and get low light on mountains looks great
a nice pic of some wildlife as close as possible as clear as possible (try the Zoo)
people
Street photography
Formal portrait Family, wedding, shoot friends
journalistic
gigs musician
Model portfolio shots
sports shots football, rugby horse riding etc.
probably get 10 out of that
another way would be to concentrate 1 or 2 areas and expend more time getting better shots on a limited type of subject. the more time you spend doing trying to get the shot the better it will be.
do you want your own or someone elses hand writing or do you just want a font that looks like someones hand writing?
plenty of free fons based on peoples handwriting so its just a question of getting one you like installing it on your computer and belting away with a graphics package.
If you want to use your own I suppose the best way would be to write what you want on a sheet of paper scan it in and play around with it in photoshop to remove the background there are apps out there that create fonts and you could use your own hand writing as a basis for that.
Use the aperture priority setting in the camera set it to the lowest number i.e. the largest aperture. what ever you focus on will be in focus the background will be blurred
god they were fecking fantastic obviously was in kerry or dublin during the gaa final for some.
absolutely never make eye contact with the person look very busy and a bit impatient (not aggressively so) if approached
expressing an attitude of ‘why the feck would I want to photograph you?’
no answers? try getting a ‘nifty fifty’ its a 50mm f1.8 less than €100 and are usually the cheapest lens you can buy. the F1.8 means that it is fast ie good in low light. if the alpha 50mm is expensive and you are going to spend the money anyway I would look at getting something less than 50mm as sometimes it can be quiet look at third party lenses from sigma or tamron as these will be cheaper.
for low light conditions I always shoot raw as you can do more in the way of brightening a raw file
