The water and the sky look great. Is the foreground/rocks a little underexposed maybe?

I’d sway more towards the colour version. Its very striking and I think the light reflected below the bridge leads the eye to the centre more in the colour version than in the BW.

    Both excellent though

I like this. Its very atmospheric and to my mind wouldnt be out of place as a scene in a Tim Burton movie (sleep hollow, nightmare before Christmas).

    Good work

Great expression on the tacklers face in #2.

Is that maybe TCD rather than UCD?

That face looks like it could tell some stories. I’d love to see an up close portrait. V apt title

Love the colours, real sense of warmth and life. Must start looking out my window more and might see something other than angry jackdaws

    Thanks for all the comments.

The crop was definitely a good idea and there’s no denying the purple hue to it. I’ve got that few times with this lens (never with any other one though – maybe I need to venturee away from AWB).

I’m trying to teach myself a little more every week in PS so this is a picture I’ll revisit in a while when I get a little more comfortable with the editing process. Maybe as Bartek suggests I’ll have a go at a B+W conversion too.

Thanks for the rework MikeL. i wouldnt worry about what colour his t-shirt actually is as there is mud, toothpaste, probably some breakfast on it….

Love the clarity and sharpness in them all.

Would you consider cropping #3 a little tighter to highlight the wonderful airborne tackle you captured?

I love #3 too. Feels like there’s a great story behind it.. on your line.. been in the mud for 78 min.. just gotta hold out for that famous win… :)
