I go down there a fair bit. There are some great options for pics. It’s just a pity the weather doesn’t us half-way!!! I like your pic too Alan. I’m always trying to get a bird or two into my seaviews.
I need patience. Is that what you’re telling me? lol I posted 3 pics and nobody commented on this. I was just wondering what feedback would be like. It’s an umbrella holder for the patio. Way too much time on my hands! I appreciate your comment! ;-)
Hey John. Great pics. They look like they were painted. Any tips on where to begin shooting a shot like that? What settings on the camera? I’ve a D7000.
The tide was out when I took this. I tried to keep the lens up from the bottom of the wall as best I could. I thought that the sea wall had nice natural features. I will try the same pic when the tide is in and with a reflection of the lighthouse in the water. Cheers for the comments.
Thanks Connie. I’ve been going into detail with f stops and iso settings lately so I’ll try this style pic again with the advice you have given me. The red wine was lovely by the way!!
It’s just sitting on the rug by the fireplace. There is a btl of red in the background. I thought that might be significant but not obvious. Any advice?
I was just trying to get a few different effects going. The stem of the glass is crooked. It’s a JP Chenet glass! I’ve been messing about with a new lens and shallow depths of field.
