looking at a shot like like this makes me want to shoot film again because the tones are wonderful but the composition is really just a shot of a back yard .

Lovely shot Alan. I think though Alan that this is leopard and not a cheetah. Cheetahs have a black line from the eye to the mouth and a cheetahs also have solid spots.

lovely shot really captures the spirit of spikey if I were to be critical I say that the image isn’t sharp where it needs to be the sharpest focus is on the orangutans arm and not the eyes

Lovely shots both I am going to Killarney tomorrow photographing the red deer down there really looking forward to it. Question for you how do you find the 300 f4 at f4 I use one and find that mine isn’t perhaps as sharp as one would like at f4 but around 5.6 to 7 its sharp as a tack. Is that just my copy or is it a characteristic of the lens.
