    Nice one.
    I had some shots before from usual angle.
    Month ago on way back from Mayo got
    similar shot.From river,without wellies
    I still do not like branches on the right.
    No choice.

    Tried and tried.
    1 from 100 shots is very good.Sometime. :)
    Prefocus on place where expecting bird,
    waiting and cont. shoting.High ISO,good light,spot metering to get faster shatter speed.

    For this shot was using tripod and hide.
    ISO 400- f5.6- 1/2000s- Focal length 140mm

    Thanks Dave and Mark.
    I agree landscape format could be good, I posted portrait one. Hardly to get foreground interest there.
    I went in last moment just before sunset, set the tripod and start taking shots.

    Taken 19 .11.2010. Yes ,some haloc is noticable.
