Really like the 2nd image Andy.
Great detail & texture in Kinbane Head. The Grad tilted to 90degrees worked!

I really like the composition in this one.
I was here a few weeks back and it really is quite a cool place.

A very dramatic sky, and I really love the texture in the foreground with the water, rocks & seaweed.

    Thanks Alan & J.
J – appreciate your honest critique. Yes, an ND Grad was used to try and keep the highlights in the sky from blowing out – I did try and dodge a little detail back into the shadows on the cliff but felt it just looked too un-natural & started to form a halo.

    I’m not sure Andy.
This is one from my archives – haven’t ventured that far round the last few times I’ve been down at Ballintoy.
Surely the issue would have been resolved by now?

Not able to make it down on the practice evenings but I’ll be there on Saturday.
    Hopefully the weather sticks it.

I think I prefer the 2nd one Andy, although perhaps I would have tried composing so that the spire thing was centrally positioned between the gap in the rocks. I don’t want you thinking I’m nitpicking! lol I really like the subtle colours in the sky & the contrast between the pier and the smooth water. You’ve done a really good job under the lighting conditions you were given.

    Sweet shot Steve.
I knew this one would turn out well once you showed me it on your screen.
    Nice work!

    Cheers Andy.
Yes, it was certainly a really spectacular night for photography.
Time was 9:25pm, however, I’m not so sure how accurately set the time is on my Canon, so that could be slightly out! lol
