The power was out during the day.
Well for the orchid – it was sitting in the bay window. behind the orchid was the the main window and it was at an angle that the sky was behind the flowers.
The dog loves to lay in the sun coming in the window. After the storm had passed the sun came out and he was looking toward the sun. And I snapped. What you don’t see is the other dog I cropped out who was shaking his head and all blurry as I was using a longer exposure time.
Thanks guys for having a look.
Pippatee, I’ll give the crop a go. You are probably right.
Tiny, I did the B&W conversion in Photoshop. I used a layer and then just adjusted the colors and all til I was happy with it.
I’m still looking for people to put the masks on and let me take photos!! Hopefully I’ll find some soon.
Well I’m not sure how many tents have been recycled, but some are better than none. If you have a look at the larger picture you can actually see a good number of tents that are still standing. The sleeping bags also are collected by the Scouts and Tangerine Fields, then laundered to give to homeless people.
Thanks guys for the comments! I’m still getting used to the camera and needless to say I was shaking outta my skin out there!!! I was lucky to take the lens cap off!! hahaha, Happy New Year!!
geez that was quick.
Unfortunately can’t attend the meetings as I’m on evenings every other week that the club meets. My shift should change after Christmas, so I’ll probably join then. Have you guys thought about holding the meetings at the Riverbank arts centre? I vaguely remember an article in the paper where they were talking about supporting artistic groups and all that. Might be something to look into if you haven’t already.
Well here is the original crop with no processing at all.
I adjusted the levels, curves and sharpened the photo for uploading, but that’s about it. There were loads of bubbles and this is where 6 bubbles were joined.
I wasn’t trying to be pissy or anything either. I dont mind if it doesn’t appeal to you, but even a comment like that helps. Especially when someone is just getting started in photography.
