I’m not too up with the technical side of developing, but i do like this shot. Well spotted.
I don’t really see the humour. It makes me think? Do all those staples represent people that went missing?
Were they ever found? You can imagine the desperation of the peolple who placed the staples?
I supose it depends on where it was taken? An american suburb where cats and dogs go missing or somwhere like El Salvador?
Either way nice shot.
Great shot. That is one of my favourite places. In fact i’m looking over at it from where i work now :)
I think the exposure is just right. i know the feeling of the sharp sea air when you are out there and i think you captured it perfectly.
Portraits don’t normally do it for me. I find a lot of them can be very similar (especially of young kids)
But this one i really like….. It’s thinking outside the box and i like to think the kind of shot i’d frame and hang if i’m ever blessed with my own little devils.

Have you been watching Casper the friendly ghost again? :D
Unfotunately most of the shots from that role came out somewhat grainy :( Could it have been a poor quality film maybe?
It is a pity because as you can see from the shot, the weather/light was fantastic. I took some shots that i really like but was disappointed with the quality when developed. I’ve been back since but never had it as good….
Cheers, Dave. I will take you up on that offer, see if i can improve them at all……

Thanks. It was shot with my Nikon F301. I can’t remember the iso film i used. But i did use a polaroid filter which i love to use with clouds.
One of the reasons i started with this was also to pose a question. I have a lot of negatives that i had scanned onto CD when i had them developed. Some came out fine but others are quite grainy (this one included) My question is…… Did anybody else expierence this? Is there any point in having the good shots rescanned from the neg?

Congrats on your win. Great shot.
Thanks very much, that looks so much better. I didn’t realise you could do that with photoshop. I have other similar shots that could do with the same treatment. I must look it up and see how it’s done.
