agree with you about the stone.
The flower was growing up from a cracl/fissure in 2 stones and I wanted to show the stone as it represents the area I took the shot in (the Burren)
I may crop a bit more off the right hand side and see what that looks like.
The other use for the stone was to shelter the flower from the wind allowing me to eliminate movement.
I agree with you john, unfortunately at this location there was’nt much foreground interest and without the wellies I could not get a different angle.
I walked around a bit and the swans came over to investigate which helped the second shot
