It is fun, isn’t it Robbie? :D I was struggling with second roll even more. I’ve chosen very old fomapan F21(about 20 years old) and couldn’t even slot the roll in. It was tiny bit longer, but the major problem was -the holes were too small for holgas fat pins! So I had to open the holes with cordless :) Lucky I was at home…
So holga is simple and light camera, but you need to cary a toolbox or wheeled workshop around with it
Thanks lads, I don’t know much about this, I just wanted to try how will the colours look like when is colour negative cross processed. I didn’t know it’s called E6  They said something about contamination in Gunn’s, I’ll try Repro35.
Thanks again
I’ve got 5pack in Gunn’s for the price of 4 last week, but I don’t remember how much was it.
First roll I’ve ran through Holga was superia x-tra 400 so I’ll see :)
I bought V500 as well for 200 euro in the shop before christmas and I think it’s great scanner for the money. Might be a bit cheaper online? I like tlr cameras as well and later Rolleicords and Yashicas are great cameras for reasonable money.
Thanks again folks,
those locking slides are weak alright Eddie, I’ll use the tape as well. I’m not going to prevent any light leaks for the first roll, just to see how is it.
Good idea Expresbro :D that would be fun.
Thats great link Dave, thanks a lot!
Thanks everyone :) I’ve got one in Gunns today, wouldn’t be bothered to get one from hong kong in this case. Took the holga out of the box and my first thought was: the real “fun” can start now! What I experienced with film untill now was probably nothing compare to this camera. Next level can be only shoebox with pinhole in it. They had to open the box in the shop to check if is really one in it, no difference weight-wise between empty and full one :D One thing I know for sure, I’m not going to give up  I can’t wait to give it a go..
Thanks for the replies folks! I wasn’t worried about quality at all, was just wondering about the atmosphere of the picture, as I thought the plastic lens will give me actually better result that way :) No, I don’t want another posh camera Sinead, I already have DSLR  So I’ll go for the simple model 120N as Dave recommended :) Thanks for the link John, I remember someone mentioned Gunns. I might ask there first.
Ken, I have couple of rolls of Ilford XP2 super 400 bw film, which I don’t need. It’s C41 process, so it can be developed in any lab where colour is done I think. Might be handy to start on them, you won’t wait for results too long. If you’re interested, pm me your address and I’ll post them to you..
I’m interested, but need more info. What Meopta model is it? Any lenses included? Will you sell that without last three items? Where are you based?
Also some orientation price would be handy to know.
Thanks
