The panorama was 3 shots and hand-held. PS3 took less than a minute and no adjusting afterwards to come up with that!

Love the photos. Have you any tips on shooting surfers in particular. Did you plonk yourself in the sand with a lengthly lense or were you wandering up and down knee high in the water or bouncing up and down on the back of a jetski?

Shot looks great! Clouds are awesome.
Photo is very under-exposed though, to my eye anyway.

Thanks for all your comments. Was never happy with the second one myself. It was taken in the dead of night looking over my shoulder for ghouls!
I took your advice on board Fajitas! and did a close crop, b& w conversion and tidied up my sig.

Lovely shot. I too prefer the landscape version on your site. It’s got that kinda dusky light just before twilight. The light when you knew it was time to start heading home when you were out wandering as a kid!

You know what I reckon the shot worked better uncropped. I think if you had both photos mounted and framed side by side the first would be a better composition. Just an opinion :)

Great shots. I think this guy might have gone to a bit too much trouble.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Here is a less ominous shot of the building.

I run CS2 and have lots of performance issues with Photoshop lag. Bridge is incrediblly slow.
I have a an AMD 2.16 Barton chip with 1gb ram
Now here’s the thing. I found Adobe Lightroom great on speed. It was refreshingly fast.
My problem with it was that the workflow was not intutitive enough for me. It didn’t seem very well thought out.
