Thanks! I found him in a small wooded area near Crossdoney, Co,Cavan. I was using a handheld 580 flash with off camera cord. He was moving around fairly quickly so it was a bit awkward to alter my set up quickly and get a steady shot. I guess I need to invest in some dedicated macro gear for macro on the move. I never seen one before but apparently they are not uncommon. Thanks for the polariser tip, I never would have thought of that for macro situations. Cheers, Ciaran.
Well done Linda, Looks like you did a good job and the couple should be very happy. Looks like you used natural light most of the time which is also my preferred route. I might advise to brighten up the images a bit more in post as I think it makes wedding images look happier or something.;) Also here is a great blog with tonnes of info to check out. Thats excellent, I wouldn’t change the tone. My only gripe would be that the crop seems too narrow. It needs more space on the right hand side for balance. But thats nit picking, its a really great shot.
